It felt liberating and healing, because most of my life I’ve been a little insecure and I cared what others think. From the moment Stan showed these photos I felt an inner well-being and many healing emotions. I had problems with my father after he saw the pictures, but I do not see them the way he does. I consider my photos "Artistic Representations" of Art, body, Soul and Spirit. The best compliments about the photos were from my two best friends, and college classmates—their words were: “You look unbelievably perfect!” “You have so much potential as a model!” “You are a god!”—to name a few examples. A distant cousin who has not yet come out of the closet for fear of facing his parents, he was inspired by me being able to express myself freely and be myself.
